Changing Feed Type

You can change your feed type by going inside your feed, navigating to the "Feed Details" tab and clicking on the Feed type you prefer.

Selecting an option will immediately update your feed. Episode date and order are determined by the type of feed. We try to ensure those details are preserved through the transition between types, but you may need to go in to each episode and set them appropriately.

After making the changes, it's possible listeners will see some duplicate episodes; one for the old version, and another for the new one. The exact behavior is unpredictable.

The tradeoff that ensures users don't experience this complication is to duplicate the feed and start fresh. Listeners will need to subscribe to this new feed, but it ensures they see all content as expected.
