Descript
Updated this week

You can create content using Descript and publish directly to your Hello Audio account from within their app. Watch this video for details. We show the Hello Audio integration at the beginning, then get into how Descript works in general after that.

The link to Descript is our affiliate link that serves to measure traffic between our platforms, and we receive a portion of any subscription if you chose a paid plan of theirs.

Descript allows for editing media directly from the transcript. (It does much more, but that's the fundamental feature.) You highlight words and delete them like you're editing a written document, and the changes are reflected in the audio as well.

When you're finished with your Descript project, click Export, More..., and then Hello Audio.

You'll be taken to a page to select a feed in your Hello Audio account. This adds the media as a new episode just like you uploaded it from your computer. The episode isn't published until you're ready.

After choosing the feed, you'll be taken to the episode list where you'll find your new episode titled the same as your Descript project.

Make any final changes and then you're ready to publish!

Note that Descript can take a few minutes to prepare and transfer the file. We'll then convert it to mp3 audio. When it's finished, you'll see the usual audio preview bar. This can take several minutes depending on the size of the file.
