When you integrate Hello Audio with Kit, you can send personalized welcome emails to your listeners that include their own unique links to access your private podcasts. This is achieved by adding the unique link to a Custom Field in Kit for each contact, which you can then use as personalized content in your Kit email sequences or broadcasts.
Listeners added to Hello Audio from Kit
To set this up, you'll first create a mapping in Hello Audio that monitors a Form or Sequence in Kit for new contacts.
Select which Hello Audio feed you want to add these contacts to.
Choose the option to send the unique link yourself from Kit.
Once configured, any contact added to the specified Kit Form or Sequence will automatically be added to your Hello Audio feed. Their unique access link will then be passed to their contact record in Kit.
To include this link in your Kit emails:
In Kit's email builder, click the plus sign to add a Personalization.
From the dropdown menu, select the Hello Audio (HA) feed you're using. This will insert a long string of liquid-formatted text (e.g.,
{{ contact.custom_field_name }}
). This string will dynamically transform into the listener's unique link when the email is sent.Copy this entire string, including the double curly brackets.
Hyperlink text or a button in your email by pasting this string as the URL.
You can preview the email and click the link. Kit will display a pre-formatted page saying "This would link to..." indicating that the dynamic link is working correctly.
Contacts added to Kit from Hello Audio
If you're using a Hello Audio signup page to collect listener information, you can pass these contacts to Kit and include their unique links as custom fields.
Add an automation in Hello Audio that notifies Kit of new sign-ups.
Select whether you'd like to add the contact to a specific Form or Sequence in Kit, or simply apply a tag.
Choose the option to send the welcome email from Kit.
Once contacts are in Kit, you'll build the email as described above, personalizing it with the custom field containing the listener's unique link.
