If you've been recommending Hello Audio to other creators (or thinking about it), the affiliate program lets you earn ongoing income from those recommendations. You're not changing what you'd already be doing, just making it count.
What You'll Accomplish
By the end of this guide, you'll understand:
β What the Hello Audio affiliate program is and how it works
β How much you can earn, and when payouts happen
β The resources you get beyond commissions (Promo Toolkit, guest training, dedicated team)
β Whether the program is a good fit for you and your audience
This takes about 5 minutes to read and then you'll know if you want to apply.
Why Hello Audio Has an Affiliate Program
Hello Audio's mission is to turn unconsumed content into audio creators' audiences will actually finish (the screen-time to listen-time transformation). The affiliates who succeed are the ones who genuinely believe in that mission, because their recommendations come with real context about why Hello Audio works.
The program is built for creators who:
Already use Hello Audio and want to earn from the recommendations they're already making
Teach or work with other creators (coaches, course creators, consultants, agency owners) who'd benefit from private podcasting
Run audiences of content creators, course graduates, or business owners with content libraries their audiences aren't finishing
If your audience includes people who'd genuinely benefit from Hello Audio, the program works for you. If your audience is mostly consumers (not content creators themselves), other affiliate programs are a better fit.
How the Commission Structure Works
You earn 40% commission on every Hello Audio subscription you refer, for 12 months from the date that customer first subscribes. After 12 months, commissions for that customer end.
Here's what that looks like across our plans:
Plan | Customer Pays
| You Earn
|
Starter (Monthly)
| $17
| $6.80
|
Pro (Monthly)
| $47
| $18.80
|
Powerhouse (Monthly)
| $97
| $38.80
|
Starter (Annual)
| $170
| $68
|
Pro (Annual)
| $470
| $188
|
Powerhouse (Annual)
| $970
| $388
|
For monthly subscribers, you earn 40% of every monthly payment for 12 months. For annual subscribers, you receive the full annual commission once at signup (not monthly across the year).
A few specifics worth knowing:
90-day cookie: if someone clicks your affiliate link and subscribes within 90 days, you get credit
Payouts: monthly via PayPal, paid by the 7th of the month two months after commissions are earned (March commissions arrive by May 7)
$50 minimum: payouts process when your unpaid balance reaches $50, otherwise rolling forward
Promotional periods: occasional limited-time promotions may have modified commission terms, communicated in advance
What You Get Beyond Commissions
The program is built to set you up for actual success, not just hand you a link.
The Promo Toolkit
Grab-and-go resources you can personalize and use immediately: swipe copy for emails and social posts, branded graphics sized for every platform, and content ideas with suggested places to share your link.
The On-Demand Guest Training
A pre-built 20-minute training on the power of private podcasts that you can drop into your courses, memberships, or group programs. You get the video, transcript, MP3, a private podcast subscribe link, and editable Canva slides.
This is the highest-leverage option for affiliates who teach digital products, marketing, tech and systems, or content strategy. Your students get a real training; your affiliate link earns from every new student who watches it.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long does approval take?
Most applicants who fit the program are approved within a few days. The team reviews each application to confirm fit.
Is the program only for big creators with huge audiences?
No. There's no minimum audience size. Smaller audiences can perform very well when there's strong fit between the audience and Hello Audio's ideal customer. Quality of audience matters more than size.
Does my audience have to be exclusively about podcasting?
No. The best fits are audiences of creators in any niche (course creators, coaches, membership owners, agency clients) who have content their audiences aren't finishing. What they create doesn't have to be podcast-related.
Can I apply if I represent an agency or work with multiple creators?
Yes. Agencies and consultants are welcome. If you want to enable team members or sub-affiliates under your account, that requires written approval. Email [email protected] to discuss.
Will my commissions stop if my referred customer cancels?
Yes. Commissions only apply while the customer's subscription is active and paid. If they cancel within the 12-month window, future commissions for that customer end. Refunded payments aren't commissionable.
Are there restrictions on how I can promote Hello Audio?
Two specifics worth knowing upfront. You can't bid on Hello Audio's branded search terms in paid ads (no bidding on "Hello Audio" in Google Ads), and you can't create domains, social handles, or pages that include "Hello Audio" in the name. Most other promotion is allowed with proper FTC disclosure.
Can I offer a discount code to my audience?
Discount codes are handled case-by-case. If you have a specific audience or launch in mind, email [email protected] and the team will discuss what's possible.
Where can I read the full affiliate agreement?
The full agreement is linked in your Welcome Packet once you're approved. It covers commission terms, prohibited promotional practices, intellectual property usage, and termination policies in detail.
