Full List of Hello Audio Zapier Triggers and Actions

Quickly see every Zapier trigger and action you can use with Hello Audio, plus practical examples of when to use them.

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Zapier can be used to manage listeners and episodes in your Hello Audio account. For a quick guide to get started with connecting Hello Audio in Zapier and simply adding a listener, follow these instructions.

Creating a new Zap or step will use the latest version. Previous versions will continue working without any action on your part. To manual update to the latest version, you can click inside an existing Zap and re-select Hello Audio. You can read more about updating versions here on Zapier.

The current version of Hello Audio in Zapier will always show without a version number. If you see a number (e.g. 3.2.0), you may not have all the actions and triggers listed below.

Zapier Actions

Actions are what follows a trigger in a Zapier automation. They are things that Zapier does rather than something happening outside Zapier. There can be many Actions in a single Zap. These are the Hello Audio actions you can perform in Zapier:

  • Add Listener

    • A listener is added to one of your private podcast feeds.

    • Example: Someone purchase your course in Teachable, give them access to the podcast version of the content by adding them to your feed.

  • Edit Listener

    • Change the listener's status in a feed, or their start date.

    • Example: Block a listener from your podcast content after they leave your Kajabi membership program.

  • Change Listener Metadata

    • Update a listener's name info or tags in your Hello Audio account.

    • Example: Someone responds to a survey and you'd like to tag them in Hello Audio so they get access to appropriate content in their private podcast.

  • Resend Invitation Email

    • Send the email a listener receives when first signing up for a feed.

    • Example: A listener lost their original email and fills out a form to have it resent.

  • Add Episode (Beta)

    • Add content to a feed automatically. This is a beta feature. Alert us to any issues by writing to [email protected].

    • Example: On publication of a new blog post, run it through OpenAI's text-to-speech model and add an audio version to a feed. Set it to publish at the same date and time as your blog.

Zapier Triggers

Triggers are what start a Zapier automation. Events in Hello Audio can be used to pass information to other tools. Zapier triggers are reserved for Powerhouse users.

  • Listener Subscribes to a Feed

    • Select a feed and start a Zap when a listener subscribes to that feed.

    • Example: Add tag in Kit when new listeners subscribe to your Hello Audio feed.

  • Listener Downloads Specific Episode

    • Choose an episode of a feed and start a Zap when a listener downloads that episode.

    • Example: Add Mailchimp events for subscribers when they download the final episodes of your feed

  • Listener Reaches Super Listener Score

    • Start a Zap when a listener hits a certain Super Listener Score

    • Example: As soon as a listener’s Super Listener Score hits 80, the Zap adds them to an “Engaged Fans” custom audience in Facebook

  • Listener Reaches a Number of Downloads

    • Start a Zap when a listener's download count reaches a certain value.

    • Example: Create WooCommerce coupons when new Hello Audio listeners reach a number of downloads

  • New Listener

    • Wait for listeners to be added to a feed in any way possible, then start the Zap.

    • Example: Using the Hello Audio Signup Page to add listeners to your private feed, but your email system isn't a supported integration yet. Add them to your CRM when they signup for the feed.
